Ben’s surprise proposal to Elena on Lido Beach went PERFECTLY. For this proposal, we used “the stalking method” so I hid in plain sight sitting on my beach blanket, and waited. Ben & Elena were in town for a quick weekend from North Carolina. Their plan was to take a quick down the beach around sunset before they went to dinner in St. Armands Circle. The beach was moderately crowded but nothing we couldn’t handle. Once I spotted them, I got ready but kept my camera hidden. And just like that, he dropped down on a knee and she said yes! I think one of my favorite moments when photographing proposals is the moment the partner realizes I’m there, haha! It’s always the best reaction! Congrats you two! ♥︎
